Chaource (French pronunciation: [ʃa.uʁs] ⓘ) is a commune in the Aube department in north-central France. Chaource cheese is named after this town.
In the Chaource parish church there is a sculpture of the Entombment of Christ, made by the Maître de Chaource in 1515.[3]
