Demjata (Hungarian: Deméte, Rusyn: Демята) is a village and municipality in Prešov District in the Prešov Region of eastern Slovakia.
History
In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1330.[citation needed]
Geography
The municipality lies at an altitude of 299 metres (981 ft)[3] and covers an area of 11.49 km2 (4.44 sq mi) (2025).[4]
