KFDS-FM is a station owned by Doug and Amy Driesel that features an “adult variety” format. Known simply as “Ozark Mountain Groove” or “OMG”, it is a truly listener driven format that actually get’s playlist adds from listeners via call in requests. Hosted by Doug Driesel, Jr. AKA “the Groovy”, OMG plays hits from from all eras.

KFDS-FM broadcasts local Mountain Grove High School Panther sports, including football, basketball and baseball.

History

The station was first licensed in 1977 as KLRS-FM.[2] It became KRFI-FM in 1987, KCMG-FM in 1989, KELE-FM in 1997,[3] and KFDS-FM in 2024.[4]
