Koireng is a Kuki-Chin-Mizo language spoken by the Koireng (or Koren) community. Koren are particularly close to Aimol, Purum and Kharam.[citation needed] The speakers of this language use Meitei language as their second language (L2) according to the Ethnologue.[2][3]
