Luis Miguel “Pulga” Rodríguez, (born January 1, 1985, in San Miguel de Tucumán) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a forward for Liga Tucumana de Fútbol club Ñuñorco.[1] Rodriguez is known for being a specialist in reading the game, finishing with chipped balls, and delivering set pieces.[2] He is idol from both clubs Club Atlético Colón and Atlético Tucumán, At Atlético Tucumán, he is the club’s second all-time top scorer.

Career

El Pulga was a key player[3] for the Atlético Tucumán team that obtained in two years the promotion from the Torneo Argentino A (regionalized third division) to the Argentine Primera División (first division). On 11 June 2010 the 25-year-old forward left Atlético Tucumán and joined on loan to Newell’s Old Boys.[4]

International career

In 2009 Argentine national team‘s coach Diego Maradona surprised the media by calling Luis Rodríguez for a friendly match against Ghana.[5] The team was formed exclusively by players of the Argentine league.
