– Per Talk:Jungang_line/Archive_1#Requested_move_18_February_2018 (and the subsequent move review), these would have to follow the same naming pattern. 1234qwer1234qwer4 16:43, 5 June 2026 (UTC) — Relisting. 1isall (talk | contribs) 18:51, 12 June 2026 (UTC)
- I’m ok with letting this happen for consistency for now, but imo “line” is pretty clearly part of the name for these and is basically universally capitalized (I’m Korean). I’ve never really seen them not capitalized. A lot of the arguments in that linked discussion seem to be influenced by a desire to make consistent with other countries, and not having looked into this topic specifically grapesurgeon (talk) 09:46, 8 June 2026 (UTC)
- I don’t have an opinion on which variant should be used. I suppose you could try to overturn the other move too; I just saw it had already survived one move review. 1234qwer1234qwer4 22:22, 8 June 2026 (UTC)
- Note: WikiProject Rapid transit and WikiProject Korea have been notified of this discussion. 1isall (talk | contribs) 18:51, 12 June 2026 (UTC)
- Oppose, these seem to be proper names and used as proper names in their locations. Randy Kryn (talk) 12:19, 14 June 2026 (UTC)
- Oppose. A brief web search for “Ansan Line” shows that a significant majority of sources capitalize it. (Roughly, about 9 in 10.) This kind of move, especially for so many articles, needs to have real evidence in favor. None has been presented, and if I cannot easily find any then I cannot support the move. - Right after this discussion concludes, we should make one to move all the subway stations to upper case. grapesurgeon (talk) 10:30, 16 June 2026 (UTC)
