Isn’t I/O Interactive an American company, so when did it become Danish?

I have heard of games like Hitman before, which mirrors games like Metal Gear Solid from Japan, and was sure I/O is an American video game studio company, not Danish, so when did it become a Danish video game company? Thank you for your interest. ~2025-37905-19 (talk) 00:50, 22 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

It’s been pretty Danish ever since being founded by a group Danes in the middle of the Danish capital in 1998, where it resides to date. IceWelder [] 01:02, 22 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Pretty sure Hitman was an American attempt at a stealth game, like Metal Gear Solid games developed in Japan. ~2025-37905-19 (talk) 01:34, 22 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Nah, it was even published by a British company. Nothing American about it. IceWelder [] 09:56, 22 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The sources don’t indicate how Delphi was involved, so I don’t think it’s necessary to mention them here instead of the game’s article. In the credits, the company is a footnote at the very end, as if they had only handled licensing. IceWelder [] 05:22, 9 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
