– No clear primary topic for term “Kawan”, Google Trends shows that (for the past 5 years), the term has been linked to various things. In the United States, it’s a brand of parathas. In the United Kingdom, it’s Uncle Roger‘s restaurant. Within Brazil itself, there seems to be many people with that given name. Therefore, Kawan should be a disambiguation page, and this page should have a more specific title. Also there is already multiple article with Kawan in it’s title. Batu Kawan an island in Malaysia, Kawan Bergeloet a book in Indonesian. And for people there are already a lot in wikipedia, for example Kawan Prather an American record executive , Kawan Pereira a Brazilian diver, and many more. So either we make “Kawan” as disambiguation, or have it as redirect to the island. – Ivan530 (Talk) 22:06, 25 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]
FYI, the disambiguation page is just created recently by me after reading GiantSnowman comment. So they might be not aware of it yet. – Ivan530 (Talk) 02:18, 26 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]
