I’ve been a Wikipedian since March 2023, but I’ve been reading the back end stuff since 2022 and made a few small IP edits before I registered. I do a whole bunch of different things here – for example, reverting vandalism, writing and expanding articles, New Pages Patrol (mainly redirects) and Articles for Creation, tracking sockpuppets, helping out at the dispute resolution noticeboard, tagging pages for speedy deletion, doing miscellaneous tasks as an Arbitration Committee clerk and more. I also sometimes read Wikipedia, find something that needs fixing in an article and fix it myself. Most of my content work is about South Korea and/or amusement parks (particularly rollercoasters), but I am also open to editing other stuff – after all, there’s still a lot out there that I want to learn how to do. If you want to see the list of alternative accounts I have, please see User:~delta/Accounts. If you want to sign my guestbook, it’s at User:~delta/Guestbook.
Regarding my editing philosophy, I believe in being bold, citing reliable sources, assuming good faith, being civil and countering systemic bias. Especially with regards to systemic bias, in my opinion one of the largest sources of it on enwiki is the lack of coverage of non-Anglophone countries, so I try to contribute to Korean subjects as I can read/speak Korean. I also believe in editor retention and strongly encourage good faith newcomers and editors returning after a long hiatus alike to contribute to this site. If you are new to Wikipedia and have questions about editing, feel free to ask them on my talk page anytime – after all, even the most prolific of Wikipedians once were newbies!
I can speak English, Korean and Spanish (my Korean and Spanish is a bit rusty, especially in terms of writing however) – I will usually try to respond to any messages both in English and whatever language you send me a message in. If possible, though, please leave any messages on my talk page in English because this is the English Wikipedia. If you wish to contact me in private, feel free to email me or message me on the Wikimedia Discord server. Keep in mind though that I may be busy in real life at times and that I cannot always reply immediately. I will respond to your message should you send me one, but it might just take a bit of time, so please be patient.
Last but not least, in case you are wondering about the picture on my user page, I took it at night in Chicago, Illinois when I visited it during June 2023. Also, when I am not editing Wikipedia, I am frequently seen listening to Vocaloid, drinking copious amounts of boba tea, or playing Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage!, Genshin Impact, Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket, Pokémon Go and Pokémon Unite.
