PROD dating
Hey there,
I’ve noticed that you placed a PROD tag on the article National Young Authors’ Fair. Please note that you shouldn’t transclude the template Proposed deletion/dated directly. Instead, you should Subsitute the template Proposed deletion by using subst:Proposed deletion. See the documentation at the template for more information.
If you need more information, do not hesitate to contact me or any other editor for help.
Thanks, Jacksonvil (talk|contribs) 09:41, 23 April 2026 (UTC)
- I forgot to mention I have already dated the current template, so no need to worry about that. Jacksonvil (talk|contribs) 09:46, 23 April 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you so much! I was really struggling with how to insert that template with substitution like described. EndTheWikiEditor (talk) 22:39, 23 April 2026 (UTC)
Wikiproject
Hello End, me and a group of friends have decided to try our hand at creating a Wikiproject on Chess Streamers. We have 3-5 people of at least minor interest in this subject and experience on the subject. However, we are lacking in the domain of Wikipedia itself, and could use your experience. Would you consider joining ? &RezAlt! (talk) 02:50, 23 May 2026 (UTC)
- Hi! I’m actually not quite as experienced in editing as you might think; I have only 320 edits, and I largely copyedit and patrol recent edits. I’m not entirely sure how to create a Wikiproject. However, that’s a really cool idea. I’m willing to help you research how to create the Wikiproject if you’d like, and the guidelines for doing so. It could be good to reach out at Wikipedia:WikiProject Chess for some extra advice on this, as they do biographies of chess players. Just let me know how I can help. Regards, End (talk) 00:57, 24 May 2026 (UTC)
- Even if you do “only” have 320 edits, that’s 320 edits more than our current team. We would love for you to join us, and thank you for offering your support. &RezAlt! (talk) 03:10, 24 May 2026 (UTC)
- Haha, thank you! I’ll help out where I can 🙂 End (talk) 06:00, 24 May 2026 (UTC)

indians in Japan
Does anyone read the talk pages? Please read the talk pages, the vandalismm was the ai edits that I’m removin per agreement on talk pages. The vandalismm was actually the new edits that someone added to the articles. Please read the talk pages and please don’t revert edits ewithout checking the reason. I clearly wrote the reason for each and every edit and removal.
NOTVANDALISM
Just to say upfront this isn’t a comment about whether the content should or shouldn’t be removed from Indians in Japan. I saw you edit here[1] and just want to say Wikipedia has some very strict rules about vandalism, but part of that is a strict rule about what is and isn’t vandalism. WP:NOTVANDALISM explains it in detail but basically someone editing in good faith isn’t vandalism, at least not in Wikipedia terms. The other editors edits would only be vandalism if they were removing the content with malicious intent, and that doesn’t seem to be the case here. Rather it looks like a good faith disagreement over the scope of the article. — LCU ActivelyDisinterested «@» °∆t° 22:36, 4 June 2026 (UTC)
- That’s a very good point! I’ll have a reread of that policy, sorry. Vandalism often becomes a buzzword on Wikipedia, so my apologies. End (talk) 23:34, 4 June 2026 (UTC)
- No worries, I just didn’t want any discussion to get derailed by anyone arguing over what is or isn’t vandalism. — LCU ActivelyDisinterested «@» °∆t° 08:29, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
