Thank you for attending! Wiki World’s Fair – Your complimentary shirt!
Thank you User:Legoktm for attending the Wiki World’s Fair at the Queens Museum in August! A round of applause to all who attended, socialized, gave lightning talks, edited, listened, and toured the Panorama of the City of New York. Thank you to Xavier Robles-Armas and the Queens Museum for having us. For the first time in Wikimania history, we held a T-shirt design contest during the event to generate a shirt for the conference. We are excited to announce we have produced a shirt with the winning design by User:Bagelpigeon. As previously announced, the shirts will be given, free of charge, to those that attended the conference. You are a confirmed attendee and now is your chance to claim your free shirt! If you want a shirt, we need your size!

What size are you? Please fill out this Google form or email: Wil@Wikimedianyc.org (One “L”) Once we have everyone’s size and we will order them and distribute them at local meet-ups or via mail. If you are out of town, please include your mailing address. The shirts will be available Feb or later.

(User:Pharos, seen here wearing a size large)

Please let us know by January 15 or come to Wikipedia Day 2023 at the Jefferson Market Library and let us know in person!

You may be eligible to vote in the U4C election

I am contacting you because you previously voted in elections related to the Universal Code of Conduct Coordinating Committee (U4C). You may be eligible to vote in the current U4C election, which is open now and closes on 2 June 2026. You can find out more about the candidates and the election on the election page on Meta, and from there you can access the vote itself. Your participation in these elections is important to the governance of Wikimedia communities, and your time spent learning about the candidates and voting is appreciated.

  • The arbitration case SchroCat has been closed.
  • The arbitration case Michael Jackson has opened. Evidence submissions in this case closes on 1 June.

User with a rude name

Hi, I noticed several of the edit summaries on Lithium-ion battery had their username and summaries scrubbed, but a revert that mentions the username wasn’t. Since you banned this user, I thought you may have also been the one that made these removals, and might want to know. Thanks, CommonsKiwi (talk) 14:45, 9 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

I didn’t do the block but just helped with the cleanup. Anyways, thanks for the note, I’ve revdel’ed that one too. Legoktm (talk) 16:37, 9 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
